Goal
GISEL has been established to group together all major italian research and development stakeholders working in the field of the electrochemical energy storage technologies: Universities, Research Centers and Companies, The goal is to facilitate discussion and coordination among national research groups, either working in the private or public sectors, and to explore new common research topics and projects.
Gisel aims to unitedly and positively face and talk with international competitors and associations, as well as to comprehensively represent the italian community in the interaction with regional, national and, where appropriate, international political decision-makers.
GISEL originates and drives the activity of the "GISEL-Centro di Riferimento Nazionale per i Sistemi di Accumulo Elettrochimico di Energia" that is the first Italian shared research center on Batteries, established at the INSTM.
GISEL-INSTM is consortium partner of the project "Batteries Europe Secretariat" (BEST) funded form the European Community in the frame of the call HEU-CL5-2021-D2-01-07.
GISEL-INSTM is consortium partner of the ORANGEES project funded by the Italian Government (Bando A MITE 2022)
The Critical raw materials and next generation batteries meeting will be also online on the 11th of october
